Meet DebbieTo work with Debbie in a consulting capacity, or to hear her speak, is to understand why she is one of the dental industry's most successful and highly respected members. She knows a coaching relationship requires experience, which goes beyond a keen understanding of dental practice management and over 25 years consulting. It requires the capacity and sincere interest to listen, to get to know the doctor and team, what drives them and what limits them. She knows a great coach must also have a strong desire to teach and lead, get results, be of service and love the work—a responsibility she is passionate about.
Debbie began her career as a registered dental assistant, followed by teaching Dental Auxiliary Utilization at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Her years assisting and teaching proved to be invaluable working with dental teams today. As a speaker, Debbie's enthusiasm and commitment to her audiences is evident. She has been a nationally featured presenter at, among others, the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting, Chicago Midwinter and Greater New York Meetings, Yankee Dental Congress, Texas Dental Association as well as many other state and local organizations and groups. She has also spoken internationally at the FDI World Congress in both Singapore and Dubai, the Singapore Dental Association and a number of Canadian conferences. The repeat invitations are a wonderful honor! |
Debbie co-authored nine books, authored numerous articles for industry publications, including Dental Economics, Dental Tribune International, Dental Products Report, The Progressive Dentist and the California Dental Association Journal. Debbie was one of 8 industry experts who contributed to "The ADA Practical Guide to Leading and Managing the Dental Team." She has been recognized by Dentistry Today as a "Leader in Consulting" each year since 2005. She is also a member and Past President of The Academy of Dental Management Consultants and recipient of their highest honor, The Charles Kidd Spirit and Service Award.
